The 23rd Annual Business Appreciation Days (BAD) barbecue dates have been set and are just around the corner.

The barbecues will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the following dates:

•Monday, June 20 in Sunburst at the City Park.

•Tuesday, June 21 in Valier at the Lake Frances Pavilion.

•Wednesday, June 22 in Browning at the Rodeo Grounds.

Last year we experienced one of the most successful turn-outs ever. We had over 200 patrons at both the Valier and Sunburst picnics and over 500 at Browning. Also funded by BAD was the post-parade Festival of Lights social at the Joe Meagher Memorial Civic Center this last November. The Cut Bank Chamber board of directors firmly believes the free barbecues and socials are a great way to say thank you to our valued customers in Cut Bank and the surrounding area. For over two decades, Cut Bank businesses have sponsored these events and those who have participated feel they are an effective means of promoting themselves and our community.

To help defray expenses, those who wish to participate are asked to contribute $125. The money will be used to purchase food and beverages, and also to buy a vinyl banner listing the names of this year’s participating businesses. The banner will be displayed at each event. The Chamber will also give away a total of $300 in Chamber gift certificates in Valier, Sunburst, and Browning. This November at the Festival of Lights social in Cut Bank, the Chamber will give away $600 in Chamber gift certificates.

We hope you consider supporting the Chamber’s BAD barbecues and socials with not only your contribution but also your attendance at any or all of the events. Please mail your $125 check, payable to the Cut Bank Area Chamber of Commerce, to P. O. Box 1243, Cut Bank, MT 59427, by June 1.
