Museum Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 1-5pm. Open year round. Weekends: By appointment, call during museum hours.

School Tours Available: Please give a week's advance notice.  Free admission.

Admission: Suggested donation fee - $1 per person.  Infant to 6 years - free.

History of the Glacier County Historical Society
The Historical Society of Glacier County became incorporated in June of 1980.  Started by a few people interested in preserving the history of this county, it now has grown to a membership of over two hundred.

The Historical Society acquired 13.9 acres of land through the generous donation of E.O. Peterson Inc.  It is located next to the Sports Complex, ¾ mile off of Highway 2 on the Old Kevin Highway.

The purpose of the Historical Society is to provide the people of Glacier County area with an appreciation of their heritage and the value of preserving it.

Museum Contains the Following Displays:
Clothing, Pictures, Toys, Tack and Farm, Old Store, Boutique, Blacksmith Shop, Country Music, Home Sweet Home, Military Room, City and County, Great Northern Railroad, and much more.  Old records and sheet music are available in the main building.

Library:
Library room available for research with old books. Books are late 1800's to 1960. Old Records and sheet music are available in the main building.
