Getting Here
Cut Bank is located in North Central Montana. Cut Bank is about 30 miles south of the Canadian border and is on the western edge of the Great Plains. The rocky mountains lie 60 miles to west. Cut Bank is 30 miles west of Interstate 15 and can be accessed via US Highway 2.
The Empire Builder Amtrak passenger train rolls through Cut Bank twice a day. For information on getting to Cut Bank via Amtrak: call 1-800-GO-AMTRAK or www.amtrak.com

Northern Transit Interlocal (NTI) Bus-
The NTI offers free bus services to Shelby, Kalispell, and Great Falls. For those interested in riding the bus system, all they need to do is arrive at one of the pick-up points, board the bus and they will be on their way to destination. The schedule is as follows:
Thursday only- To Great Falls from Cut Bank-
Shuttle leaves the Parkview Senior Center at 7:45am and arrives in Shelby so that can catch the bus to Great Falls at 8:25am. To use the Cut Bank to Shelby shuttle provided by the Parkview Senior Center, riders must call (406)470-0727 by Wednesday afternoon.
Thursday only- From Great Falls to Cut Bank-
The NTI bus leaves Great Falls at 5:00pm. That bus arrives in Shelby around 7:00pm. The Parkview shuttle will be waiting to take those passengers to Cut Bank and will arrive in Cut Bank around 7:00pm.
Tuesday and Wednesday- Cut Bank to Kalispell-
The NTI leaves Shelby at 7:00am and stops at the Parkview Senior Center at 7:30am to pick up passengers. Cut Bank passengers will not to call (406)470-0727 to reserve space the day before their planned travel.

Great Falls International Airport- (Located in Great Falls, MT) 112 miles SE of Cut Bank
Glacier Park International Airport- (Located in Kalispell, MT) 135 miles West of Cut Bank
Customs and Port of Entry Information:
Visitor Information Center
Visitors to Cut Bank are invited to stop by the visitor’s center and public rest area, conveniently located on U.S. Highway 2 near the City Park.
The City Park features picnic tables, public restrooms, and a playground and horse shoe pit. The Cut Bank Area Chamber of Commerce’s visitor’s center is staffed by both friendly, knowledgeable volunteers and paid staff.
The center opens Memorial Day Weekend and closes Labor Day Weekend. Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm
Saturday 9am to 3pm
The visitor’s center is stocked with literature and brochures on attractions throughout the area as well as statewide travel information.
The trained staff has lived in Cut Bank and Glacier County most of their lives and are always willing to provide additional information on local and nearby “must see” sites.
Thanks to cooperative efforts by the City of Cut Bank, Glacier County and School District No. 15, a large, paved parking area is available to accommodate the parking of motor homes and recreational vehicles during your stop at the visitor’s center.
